Wingman: How long have you wanted to be in Playboy and how did that come about?
Kaylia Cassandra: I’m not exactly sure how long I wanted to be in Playboy. When I was younger, people would always tell me that I should model. I always knew that I wanted to do something big, so for a couple of years I would say.
WM: Your grandmother was invited to the mansion and was an influence on you joining Playboy as well correct?
Kaylia: She was in the “Tall Group” that was invited to the mansion, she was 6’1
WM: Where were you when you found out you were going to be Miss June?
Kaylia: I was home in Hershey with my family and it was definitely some of the best news that I could’ve received.
WM: Have your family and friends been supportive of your Playboy career?
Kaylia: My friends and family have been my biggest supporters all the way through this. I couldn’t have asked for them to be any better than that to me.
WM: As a child of the military, what was the most interesting place that you have lived?
Kaylia: I got really fortunate with my mom being in the military and only having to move three times, all within the United States. I have lived in North Dakota, Illinois and now Hershey, PA.
WM: Is there anywhere in the world that you haven’t traveled to that you are dying to go to?
Kaylia: I am up for any journey and really anywhere that I wanna go and I kind of just go with the flow.
WM: As a big Vikings fan, what do you think their chances are this year?
Kaylia: I think our chances this year are great to go to the playoffs. I am behind my team 110% and I hope we go all the way, but whatever happens, happens. We have Adrian Peterson back and after his family issues last year, we are glad he’s back.
WM: What is the nerdiest or geekiest thing that people wouldn’t guess about you?
Kaylia: People are surprised to find out that I am really shy and for my nerdy side to come out, I have to really get to know you. I am all about little quirky jokes or goofy little things that are kinda nerdy about me, I guess.
WM: Even though you are big into fitness, when you have a cheat meal…what is your go to food?
Kaylia: I am a big donut person! Not just 1, I will usually go for a few donuts on my cheat day.
WM: Is there a show that you absolutely have to watch every week?
Kaylia: Um this is pretty nerdy…but General Hospital and it’s on five days a week, not just once a week.
WM: Is there anything that you can never travel without? Like a certain item?
Kaylia: I have a cheetah print Snuggie that goes everywhere with me.
WM: What is your go-to karaoke songs?
Kaylia: I am big Garth Brooks kind of girl. But you may want to cover your ears when I am singing.
WM: What advice would you give to girls wanting to be in Playboy?
Kaylia: Never give up on your dream, no matter how many no’s you hear.
