Arrow star Stephen Amell has reportedly been offered the role of Casey Jones in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film that releases in 2016. Amell auditioned among several others but eventually won the nod after his chemistry with Megan Fox, who is reprising her role as April O’Neil.
Michael Bay will be producing the new addition to the franchise and directed by Earth To Echo’s David Green. Also reprising his role as Vernon Fenwick is Will Arnett. The story line hasn’t been released as of yet, but mutants Bebop and Rocksteady will be some of the main villains.
The film will release on June 3, 2016 and begins shooting in New York in April.
